The Corralitos

The Corralitos follows in the tradition of the 16” jazz box, with a few modern twists. With an body depth of 2 1/4”, and lower bout measuring 15 3/4”, the Corralitos has a familiar feel, but is more comfortable, ergonomic, and balanced.
The Jazz Style neck joint appears to be a glued in joint, with elevated fingerboard and traditional heel, but it is actually a bolt on, accessible through the pickup cavity.
Fully hollow construction, German Spruce bracing, and a hand rubbed Antique Varnish produce a warm, broken in feel. While P.A.F inspired Humbuckers, 50’s style wiring, and paper-in-oil capacitors, give the Corralitos a vintage voice.
This instrument was designed with the traditional Jazz player in mind, though it can handle many styles. Those searching for a fully hollow Jazz box with vintage vibes, but the playability and feel of a luthier built instrument, need look no further. The laminate construction insures a gig worthy, stage ready guitar, without the risk of cracking or excesive feedback.

A Catalog Style Corralitos is also available with a three bolt neck joint, as found on the Cambridge model.
